Strong Colored Pencil Set
Here’s what I discovered. Faber Castell colored pencils set seem to have a stronger support when putting pressure on your paper. The reason I value this as an importance is that I am one of those people who grip the pencil much lower than others. I’m still not exactly sure how this habit began, but I have been known to drag my palm against the paper.
So therefore having a colored pencil that won’t break is an of high value here. If you are a serious artist, you will discover the necessity in pressing hard on your paper especially when you have do what is known as “color value” matching.
This means blending the colors to more closely match the image you are projecting to life on your paper.
Holds up under a Sharpener
Another good value in using the Faber Castell Colored Pencils set is that they don’t grind down with a sharpener. Have you ever worked on one pencil, shaving it down, and it still does not hold up under the weight? When you press down into the paper the leds breaks? This is because the ‘tooth of the paper’ is weak.
Yeah, as an artist, I totally agree when it comes to needing the support of a dependable pencil, especially if you also only have a limited supply remaining.
Pencil Sharpeners tested
Although there are literally a lot of pencil sharpeners out there, the ones seen in the screenshot have be tried and tested successfully with using my set of Faber Castell Colored Pencils set.
They don’t while a constant sharpening either, where you twist and twist and the pencil still breaks and you have to sharpen it again.
Above are several examples of the Faber Castell colored pencils set on a sheet of Bienfang paper. Keep in mind that this is not even the top quality of paper to really perceive what they can do. Examine many of the arts on the page Art Drawings in Pencil to learn more.
However, I figured the proof in necessary to convince anyone of their worth. Even though the cost factor can sometimes vary based on the website you purchase them from, they definitely hold up for their value.
